It's the end of another chapter here - 8th grade has come to a close for Erik and Claudia and not it's on to high school. I know it's cliche to say but where did the time go? The days of sleepless nights and fussy babies have passed onto two kids who I can pretty much say are good all around - except for some prime moments of fresh behavior from you know who. Erik and some of his friends decided they would dress up in honor of the last day of middle school - he got the proverbial eye roll and sneer from his sister, but truthfully I think she was amused. I went searching and found the picture of their first day of kindegarten, and despite the fact my brain is a sieve and I can't remember a thing, I do remember this day well.
So begins a new chapter - I pray it is void of drama, pain and suffering for both of them.... and Steve and I as well.
