It's something that doesn't happen too often anymore...being all together as a family. But this holiday weekend, we were able to enjoy a few days as a family. Eliot flew home from Charleston, Liza was home from her weeklong course at JMU and she brought her boyfriend with her. It was our first time meeting him and as my mother would say, he was 'delightful'. Always had a smile, and for an only child, did well with all of the chaos that was going on here. Liza was so happy too - which was great to see. I really enjoyed having everyone around, and interestingly enough, the things I get sick of on a day to day basis (laundry, cooking, cleaning up) didn't seem to get under my skin so much. Not to say I want a full house all of the time, but let's just say I am extra appreciative of the times we do get to be together as a family.
Trying to keep it simple with a husband, five kids, three dogs, a job, and a jewelry business.
