It was a major milestone for me at work yesterday - we taped our 500th episode of the show I created almost 15 years ago - The Council in Brief. Hard to believe I've been at it this long, but it's been too good of a gig to give up. We put a close together illustrating how far we have come technically since our first show...no teleprompter and a very crude set. Today we shoot on a blue screen on video cards and edit with Final Cut Pro. It's been amazing watching technology advance over the years. But the technology isn't the only thing that changed over 500 shows - it was a hoot looking back at old tapes seeing all of my old hairstyles and the progression of my age. We will see how much longer they want to keep this old girl on the air, but for now, it's all good.
