Garden of Lights

For me, work can be a lot of fun. Last night I had the pleasure of going to Brookside Gardens in Wheaton for their Garden of Lights show. This illuminated outdoor winter garden walk electrifies the landscape with over one million tiny colored twinklers.
The walk sparkles with festive forms of animals, plants, a gazebo and even a loch ness monster. The girls were both busy and Steve is out of town so I took Erik and his buddy Justin along with me and interviewed them for my story. Even though they were some of the oldest kids there, they seemed to enjoy themselves. I surely did - the happy chatter and laughs of all the little ones there was uplifting. Some were camera shy, and others grabbed the microphone and took over. When we were finished, my dates and I had dinner at California Tortilla. In all, a great night!
