...to be crazy busy. After three days, we or should I say I finally finished decorating the house. The girls helped me decorate the tree this year which was great, and instead of cramming everything in in one day, I took a few days to put things out. For the first time in 20 years we will not be in Maryland for Christmas. This is the last Christmas at Steve's boyhood home, as his parents will be moving to a retirement village sometime next year. So, we are all planning to head west a few days before Christmas. Anyways, we decorated as usual this year, and plan on having our family celebration before the new year. I love how the house feels during the holidays...it's a sort of warm, peaceful feeling that makes me want to curl up by the fire and read all day. No such luck though - maybe in my next life....
