Richmond

Sheesh - it seems like just last week Claudia turned in her high school uniform and called it a season. We maybe had a week off and now we are into the throes of club soccer starting with a tournament this weekend in Richmond. This was a new experience for me and it was a lot of fun. I was able to travel with my friend Erin, and we spent much of the weekend laughing and of course eating.

The girls did fabulous...there is so much talent on this team. They won the entire tournament for their age division which is quite of an accomplishment for a team that had never actually played a game until this tournament.

Two of my favorite little siblings were along for the weekend - Yonni and Lander. The sweetest, cutest boys who I have been able to see grow over the years as Claudia has played soccer with their sister for years. They are always so smiley and chatty - I love their freckles.

I'm not sure I will be making the road trip to all of these events, but I do want to try and go to as many as possible as these years are slipping by so quickly. I realize that our kids sports events are how we socialize - I'll be lost when it comes to an end...or then again, maybe not.
