On Sunday Steve, Claire, Erik, Claudia and I drove up to Penn State to cheer Eliot on as he participated in a 46 hour dance marathon to raise money for kids with cancer. We arrived at PSU at about 8AM and Eliot had been going strong for 38 hours. He was happy to see us and we were able to spend time with him on the floor with the dancers until the last three hours of the day. We then headed to the stands to watch the rest of the day unfold. Moving testimonies from families who had been helped by the efforts of the students, and stories of families who had lost loved ones. It was really great to see so many young people participating in giving back to the community. In all, the students raised 9.5 million dollars!
Trying to keep it simple with a husband, five kids, three dogs, a job, and a jewelry business.
