Last night we had the opportunity to witness the University of Maryland Women's basketball team DESTROY Duke. My cameraman from work, Mike, produces a show for the team called Under the Shell. He got us tickets sitting with the family members of the team, and gave me his press pass so we could roam around wherever we wanted. We brought our neighbor Chaz along who is a fanatical Maryland fan, and gave him the opportunity to meet Brenda, the players and some of the Maryland men who where there watching the game. He was thrilled. Mike is including Chaz in his show this month - he had a microphone on him the entire game and picked up his play by play and color commentary throughout the evening. We got home very late and the kids were exhausted this morning, but it was well worth it!
