We are on day 9 of our 2 week beach vacation and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. It has been sunny and breezy and today the water was perfect...I was swimming by 10 in the morning which is rare for me. I haven't quite gotten over my 'shark phobia' from seeing Jaws umpteen years ago, but each year I spend more and more time in the water in hopes my fears will fade. We saw a huge pod of dolphins today and they were really breaching the water as they cruised past the beach. There are also lots of pelicans diving for fish...they are amazing to watch. Steve and I took a morning walk at low tide and found some nice shells today. It is so peaceful and serene here - great for the soul.
