Today my girl Daisy is 10 years old. She is the greatest dog ever - really. I have had plenty of labs in my life and she truly is a winner. Calm, loving, patient and oh so sweet. She shares walks with me, and hangs out in bed with me when I just feel like laying around and faithfully waits for droppings when I'm doing the dishes. Steve calls it begging, but not me, she knows what she deserves. She greets me with the same amount of exuberance whether I've been gone 10 minutes or 10 days. She has aged quite well and still has plenty of energy and spunk. I can only hope when I'm 70 I'm looking half as good as her.
