My favorite gemstone is the pearl. Each one is different from the next, and I love the clean, classic look of pearls in any piece of jewelry. The word pearl has also become a metaphor for something rare, valuable and admirable. There are many different types of pearls out there, but I tend to favor freshwater pearls not only for their uniqueness, but their great value as well. This bracelet is one of my new favorites. Six strands of greek leather are strung with 10mm freshwater rice pearls and it's finished with a sterling hook and eye clasp and a handmade sterling artisan cross charm.
