Inspirational

Today I had the honor of meeting a remarkable young woman who goes the distance - literally. Angie Fuentes is a junior at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown and she runs cross country. The thing is, Angie is blind - but she hasn't let that get in the way of competing just like anyone else. She was recognized at the council today for her great accomplishments, and when she spoke she encouraged anyone with a dream to believe in themselves and go for it. She is my new hero.
