We hosted our first bridal shower yesterday and all I can say is phew. Close to 50 people in honor of our neighbor Alexa who will be married this summer.
Claire will be the maid of honor in the wedding - she and Alexa have been friends for 13 years. In all, thanks to lots of help from my trustworthy neighbors and friends, I think the day was a success.
We even had a contest where teams were tasked with making wedding dresses our of toilet paper - I think we have some closet designers in the neighborhood because Claudia's dress was showroom worthy.
