Flashback

For our 25th wedding anniversary, I bought tickets for Steve and I to see the Psychedelic Furs and The Tom Tom Club at the Fillmore in Silver Spring. Those were two bands we loved when we first started dating, so when I saw they were coming to town, I knew we had to go. The music was great - both of us had forgotten so many of the songs both band performed...it really was cool. Most of the folks in the crowd were about our age - a few in their thirties - but Steve did observe as we sat in our balcony seats that he saw lots of bald heads below. But as the night continued, we noticed they were rockin to the music like they were 21 - and so were we!
