Once again our vacation to Buxton coincided with Claire's birthday, but since the family is here, we had a dual celebration with her cousin Caroline whose birthday is also July 13th. They both love being the center of attention. Claire, who is usually somewhat quiet and reserved paraded onto the beach with Caroline this morning wearing matching crowns we picked up at the local boutique.
The theme for the party was Packers and Vikings, the girls respective favorite football teams. We had a great day on the beach...it was my second day in a row swimming which is somewhat unusual. Ever since I saw Jaws in high school I have this shark phobia - I think I may finally be getting over it. But that's a post for another day.
