Today was our last full day here in Buxton. Each and every day was incredibly sunny and warm and the water was the perfect temperature for bodysurfing and swimming. I think the kids are ready to go home, but quire honestly, if I had my dogs here, I could stay for the rest of the summer.
All it takes is the beach, a good book and a cold Diet Coke I am set. These past two weeks have been full of lots of new friends, great conversation, plenty of laughs and some good family time. I feel blessed in so many ways...
I believe in my heart these vacations will include some of the kids fondest memories of growing up. Some years we think we should try someplace new, but we always end up right back here on North Tower Circle, Buxton, North Carolina.
