Each summer, my good friend Cris and I take our girls to New York for a whirlwind visit. Top on the priority list - bargains in Chinatown. After our wheeling and dealing, it was on to Little Italy for dinner, and then Soho for some boutique shopping. Dessert at Rice to Riches, and then a couple of hours shopping at the new 4 story Forever 21 which was overwhelming to say the least. All of the stores in Times Square stay open until o-dark-thirty, and the girls would have shut them down if we'd let them. On Friday, we shopped along 5th Avenue and made a stop in Tiffany's where we picked a little something special out for Claire, who will be 16 in a few days. It's so great to watch the girls grow together, and to be creating these memories they will have for a lifetime.
